Clinton College has announced the appointment of Dr. Derek Greenfield as its new Vice President for Student Affairs, bringing more than three decades of leadership in higher education, diversity, and student engagement.
A seasoned administrator and motivational educator, Dr. Greenfield has previously served at several HBCUs, including:
- Kentucky State University, where he was Vice President for Student Engagement & Campus Life and Chief Diversity Officer.
- Harris-Stowe State University, where he served as Vice President for Inclusive Excellence, Campus Culture & Academic Engagement.
Known nationally for his inspiring talks on belonging, resilience, and inclusive leadership, Dr. Greenfield has also earned several awards and continues to champion spaces where every student feels seen and supported.
At Clinton College, he will oversee student life, wellness, and support initiatives, guiding efforts to elevate campus culture and expand holistic student success.
