Dr. Brittaney S. Lott to Lead Voorhees Business School

Voorhees University has appointed Dr. Brittaney S. Lott as Dean of the School of Business & Entrepreneurship and Assistant Professor of Business Administration, effective August 10, 2026.

Lott joins the University with more than 17 years of experience spanning higher education leadership, academic program development, curriculum design, faculty administration and accreditation. Throughout her career, she has focused on strengthening academic programs, building industry partnerships and expanding career opportunities for students.

“Dr. Lott brings a strong combination of academic leadership, business expertise and commitment to student success,” said Dr. Ronnie Hopkins, President and CEO of Voorhees University. “Her experience building programs and partnerships will help strengthen our School of Business & Entrepreneurship and prepare our students for success in today’s evolving business environment.”

Before joining Voorhees, Lott served as IT Program Director at Miller-Motte College and previously held faculty and academic leadership positions at Liberty University and Colorado Technical University. She is also the founder and CEO of BeCode Consulting, bringing additional experience in workforce development, research and program management.

Lott earned a Doctor of Philosophy from Trident University International with a concentration in Accounting and Finance. She also holds a Master of Business Administration in Information Systems and Technology Management from American InterContinental University and a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy with a minor in Education from Converse University.

As dean, Lott will provide strategic and academic leadership for the School of Business & Entrepreneurship, oversee academic program growth, strengthen external partnerships and support student and faculty success.
