North Carolina Central University proudly welcomes back one of its own—Dr. Gary L. Brown ’02—who will serve as Vice Chancellor and Chief of Staff beginning July 8.
A proud Eagle and seasoned higher education leader, Dr. Brown brings more than 20 years of experience spanning student affairs, advancement, operations, and institutional strategy. His return marks a full-circle moment, having previously served NCCU in several key student affairs roles over the course of a decade. He has also served in roles at Hollins University and Elizabeth City State University.
We wish Dr. Brown and the NCCU community well wishes as they embark on this new chapter!
