Jan. 14, 2025 — Monique Dozier, an accomplished higher education fundraising leader with extensive experience across public and private universities, including the University of California System, Morehouse College, and Michigan State University, has been named Vice Chancellor for University Advancement at North Carolina A&T State University. She will officially begin her new role in March.

Dozier brings a wealth of expertise to North Carolina A&T, where she will oversee Development, the North Carolina A&T Foundation, and Alumni Relations. With a career spanning AAU institutions, Research 1 universities, and a renowned HBCU, Dozier has earned recognition for her innovative, results-driven leadership. At UC Riverside, where she currently serves as Vice Chancellor for Advancement and President of the UCR Foundation, she has been celebrated for her strategic planning and relationship-building expertise. Prior to UC Riverside, she served as Vice President and Chief Advancement Officer at Morehouse College from 2018 to 2022.

“Monique’s unmatched technical knowledge, strategic insight, and relationship-building acumen have produced a remarkable track record at some of the nation’s leading universities,” said Chancellor James R. Martin II. “Her combination of experience and vision aligns perfectly with North Carolina A&T’s ambitious goals. I am excited to welcome her leadership as we build on our legacy of excellence and forge new opportunities for growth.”

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Dozier has held prominent roles with organizations such as Microsoft Surface Customer Advisory Board and the Council for Advancement and Support of Education Board of Trustees. She has also collaborated with Salesforce, IBM, and Ellucian in advisory capacities. A recognized leader, she has been honored as an Aspen Leadership Institute Fellow and an IBM Analytics Champion.
